Located just a few minutes from town, Merano 2000 is a ski area for everyone from families to advanced skiers. There is a wide range of ski runs and alpine touring trails with varying levels of difficulty.
Merano is the perfect base from which to reach several nearby ski areas in the countryside: Val Senales (Schnalstal), Val d’Ultimo (Ultental)/Schwemmalm, the placid San Vigilio (St. Vigil) or Plan (Pfelders) in Val Passiria (Passeiertal), the car-free village.
