Merano PLUS Card

The Merano Plus Card is the ‘smart card’ that enables you to discover South Tyrol in a whole new way. Available in all participating hotels, it grants many benefits like free access to all public transport in the whole area of South Tyrol as well as to this selected ropeways: cable car Falzeben, cable car Merano 2000, chairlift Merano-Tirolo, chairlift Lagundo-Velloi, funicular Velloi-high mountain trail “Meraner Höhenweg”.

MERANCARD

With the MeranCard you can enjoy a number of services for free in South Tyrol: use of all public transportation, rides on public cable cars, entrance to more than 80 museums. Furthermore discounts of at least 10% at providers of sport and recreation in Merano and environs.

The Merancard is handed out by selected partner companies from just one overnight stay, is included in the room price and is valid for your whole stay.

Guest Card

Your bonus card for Merano and Environs offers well over 119 ideas for great experiences at little cost. Exclusive reductions are available to GuestCard holders at museums, cable cars, sport and leisure areas in Merano and its surroundings, providing numerous good reasons to discover the various localities around Merano.

The GuestCard is free and will be presented to you by your host on arrival (partner of the Tourist Authority). It is valid for the entire duration of your stay. For further information: www.meranerland.com

BusCard Merano and environs

The BusCard Merano and surroundings permits you to reach Merano and the villages in the near environs by bus. The ticket is valid for 7 consecutive days.

The Merano BusCard costs € 13.00 (children until 5,99 years are free), and is available in tourist offices.

Mobil card

Purchasing the South Tyrol Mobilcard lets you travel for 1, 3 or 7 consecutive days on all public transport run by South Tyrol Integrated Transport (buses, regional trains, participating lift facilities).

Included in the public transport network are:

- regional trains (not Eurostar/Intercity) in South Tyrol (Brennero-Bolzano-Trento, Malles-Merano, Merano-Bolzano, Bolzano-Fortezza-San Candido)
- all urban and extra-urban bus services
- the cable cars Postal-Verano, Vilpiano-Meltina, Bolzano-S. Genesio, Rio Molino-Maranza, Bolzano-Soprabolzano (Renon-cable car), the narrow-track railway of Renon and the cable railway from Caldaro up to the Mendola
- the PostBus Switzerland between Malles and Müstair.

The ticket must be validated at the beginning of each journey; remember to validate your ticket before boarding when travelling with trains or ropeways. You are not required to indicate your destination.

Museumobil Card

The 3- or 7-day museumobil Card allows you to explore the museum landscape of South Tyrol using public transport (buses, regional trains, participating lift facilities – see Mobilcard). Over 70 museums and collections can be visited.

Use of public transport is for an unlimited period and the museumobil Card allows one entry into each participating museum.

Bikemobil Card

The bikemobil Card brings together two special offers: unlimited travel across South Tyrol’s public transport network (buses, regional trains, participating lift facilities – see Mobilcard) for one, three or seven consecutive days as well as one day of bike rental. You can return the bicycle at every bike-rental “Südtirol Rad – Bici Alto Adige”.

Skicard Merano

The new SkiCard allows you to discover the five skiing areas of Merano 2000 (Avelengo), Senales Valley (Val Venosta), Schwemmalm (Val d’Ultimo), Plan/Pfelders (Passirio Valley) and Monte San Vigilio (Lana) in the Merano and Environs at an attractive price.

Five different winter worlds await you, from idyllic natural paradises at 1500 metres to glaciers at an altitude of 3200 metres. You have a choice of 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6-day cards, to be used within a 7-day holiday period. All skiing areas are located close to Merano and can easily be reached by bus or car within 30 to 60 minutes.
