Jewish Museum and Synagogue
Merano’s Ashkenazim Synagogue is witness to a time between the beginning of the twentieth century and the eruption of World War II, in which the city’s Jewish community was one of the most significant cultural and social centres in Central Europe. The museum’s exhibition reflects on those years of glory – and the tragedy of the Holocaust.
